Xavier Belin puts drums at the centre of the game. Ka drums, voodoo drums, Haitian drums, Guyanese drums, Amerindian drums: they all have their own language, their own timbre, their own breath. They are instruments of struggle, ritual and connection. They are tools of communication, memory and creation.
Through them, the musicians explore a repertoire combining revisited covers, collective improvisations and new rhythms.
