Monday 12th October 2026

On 14 October 2026 at 9.00 pm, Sylvain Beuf, Diego Imbert and Franck Agulhon will pay tribute to Sonny Rollins, the great master of the tenor saxophone, in a format he was particularly fond of: the piano-less trio.

A trio formed in 1998

Formed in 1998, the trio released three albums before each member went their separate ways for over twenty years. This concert marks a reunion between three musicians who know each other inside out.

Three leading figures of French jazz

Sylvain Beuf (saxophone): winner of the Django Reinhardt Prize, the Django d’Or and the Victoire de la Musique, he has played with Martial Solal, Michel Legrand, Richard Galliano and Ray Charles.

Diego Imbert (double bass): one of the most sought-after double bassists of his generation.

Franck Agulhon (drums): a subtle swing and remarkable musical intuition.

More than just a tribute

A celebration of the freedom, the taste for risk and the dialogue that made Sonny Rollins a legend.
