Spend Valentine's Day in music with "The Spirit of 3", a project by Shekinah Rodz and Christophe Dal Sasso
On 14 February, we're giving you the chance to celebrate Valentine's Day in a different way...
With The Spirit of 3composer Christophe Dal Sasso joins forces with American saxophonist and singer Shekinah Rodz for a singular project, at the crossroads of his favourite worlds: jazz and the classical repertoire. Drawing on his experience of writing for big bands, choirs and symphony orchestras, he has created a dense, luminous repertoire that draws on Mediterranean, African and Indian influences.
The number three, the common thread running through the project, evokes movement, balance and the cycle of life. This lively music, performed by seven instrumentalists and a singer-percussionist, invites you to listen and share.
Come along as a couple, with friends or family and enjoy a unique jazz evening.
