Monday 26th January 2026

Wednesday 25 March 2026 -→ Saturday 4 April 2026.

The idea was an obvious one: to pay tribute to Sarah Vaughan, who died on 3 April 1990, and whose voice and elegance left an indelible mark on vocal jazz. April is a month when legendary voices are born and die. It was in April that legendary artists such as Billie Holiday (7 April 1915), whose moving voice shaped vocal jazz, Carmen McRae (8 April 1920), famous for her subtle phrasing and musical intelligence, Ella Fitzgerald (25 April 1917), the "First Lady of Song", queen of swing and scat, and Blossom Dearie (28 April 1926), with her light voice and singular elegance, were born; It's a month when voices echo forever in our memories, inspiring "Les voix au pluriel" for the past 15 years , a vibrant tribute to these giants of song.

This annual event highlights the richness, diversity and expressive power of vocal jazz, through projects in which the voice is seen as an instrument in its own right, with solo or collective voices, audacious writing and multiple aesthetics. All of which testify to the vitality of contemporary vocal jazz and its ability to constantly reinvent itself.

The programme will be announced gradually, so stay tuned to our website!
