This annual event highlights the richness, diversity and expressive power of vocal jazz, through projects in which the voice is seen as an instrument in its own right.
For several days, the festival invites the public to discover singular vocal artists and projects: solo or collective voices, audacious writing, multiple aesthetics. All of which testify to the vitality of contemporary vocal jazz and its ability to constantly reinvent itself.
For fifteen years now, we've been hosting this not-to-be-missed spring event, affirming our commitment to vocal creation and the voices of today. Created as a tribute to Sarah Vaughan, the emblematic figure of vocal jazz and queen of bebop, the festival is part of her artistic and symbolic legacy: that of a free, inventive and deeply expressive voice.
