Founded by Etienne Mbappé (bassist to John McLaughlin, Joe Zawinul, Salif Keita...), NEC+ was born in April 2019, on the stage of the Baiser salé Jazz Club and brings together, around the bassist with black silk-gloved hands, the magic sticks of Nicolas Viccaro on drums, and the harmonic finesse, melodic beauty, and heart-rending bow of Christophe Cravero, on piano, keyboards, and violin.

NEC+ distils intense, surprising music that sings and dances... with a resolutely jazz sound that sometimes blows in the winds of Africa and elsewhere.
