VIVIANE GINAPÉ invite BENOIT DE MESMAY

Singer and composer with a deep/alto voice, Laura Littardi passed away in August 2024. She was expressive, capable of intimacy and nuance, and an incredible improviser; scat was her greatest asset. She loved to blend genres: jazz, Brazilian syncopations, '70s pop-soul, stripped-down melodies focused on intimacy, without artifice.

A tribute initiated by Viviane Ginapé, a singer and teacher who drew much inspiration from great names in vocal jazz such as Ella Fitzgerald and Sarah Vaughan, and from Latin music, accompanied by Benoit de Mesmay, jazz pianist, composer, and arranger.
