FRANÇOIS CONSTANTIN - FUNKY TIME

Let’s round off the year in style with the groove and festive energy of the François Constantin Quintet “Funky Time”, following in the footsteps of legends such as Johnny Guitar Watson, Bill Withers and the Commodores, Prince and Maceo Parker. This quintet brings together five exceptional musicians for a celebratory tribute to funk and soul. A thoroughly festive concert, blending virtuosity, warmth and the sheer joy of playing, to round off the year.

Jo Champ, on guitar and vocals, embodies the spirit of funk with charisma and infectious energy. Fred Dupont brings an irresistible harmonic richness on keyboards, whilst Benjamin Petit, on saxophone, displays a power and expressiveness worthy of the greatest. On drums, Tao Ehrlich drives an unrelenting groove, supported by the musical direction of François Constantin, a master of rhythm and fiery atmospheres.
