What if Christmas carols were given a touch of jazz and Caribbean music? At the piano, Mario Canonge takes these popular melodies and gives them a fresh twist, accompanied by Annick Tangorra on vocals, Thierry Fanfant on bass, Arnaud Dolmen on drums and Bago Balthazar on percussion.

With subtle arrangements, Caribbean rhythms and familiar melodies, the quintet creates a dialogue between tradition and musical freedom. By turns festive and intimate, ‘Chanté Nwèl’ is, above all, a story of sharing and passing on traditions.
