The Monday Jams are THE unmissable, timeless event where the masters of the genre meet the younger generation for friendly musical exchanges. This time, the spotlight is on Hard Bop, an iconic jazz style that emerged in the 1950s, which builds on the energy of bebop by blending blues, gospel and soul, with a powerful swing and a very prominent groove. The evening kicks off with a concert led by François Constantin on percussion and lead vocals, accompanied by Fred Nardin on piano, Hugo Lippi on guitar and Romain Sarron on drums. A top-class quartet exploring this direct and generous style of jazz, before giving way to the jam session: the musicians come together, respond to one another and improvise as a group, extending the evening in the spirit of sharing and freedom that is the very essence of the Monday Jams.
