A drummer, composer and tireless source of inspiration, Benjamin Sanz is joined for this #RDVavec… by two exceptional musicians: Rob Clearfield on piano, a leading figure on the Chicago scene, and Yoni Zelnik on double bass, a long-standing collaborator with some of jazz’s greatest voices. Together, they create a space where anything can happen. Blending jazz heritage, contemporary composition and improvisation, Benjamin Sanz charts a path that is free, generous and resolutely focused on the moment. Accustomed to sharing the stage with artists such as Archie Shepp, David Murray and Joëlle Léandre, he has devised an #RDVavec… centred on listening, surprise and the joy of playing together.
