Swaéli Mbappé takes the lead on bass and lead vocals – a key figure in the groove scene and a live performer who has collaborated with numerous artists – accompanied by Toto Gil and Insxght on keyboards, as well as Jon Onabowu on drums, a British-Nigerian drummer and composer who is establishing himself as one of the distinctive voices of the new London scene. As the founder of the Cosmic Fusion nights at Ronnie Scott’s in London, Jon creates a world where contemporary jazz, funk, hip-hop and gospel come together in a resolutely modern energy.
