A leading figure in French jazz, Magic Malik has established himself as one of the most creative and distinctive musicians of his generation.

A virtuoso flautist, daring composer and unrivalled improviser, Malik Mezzadri has collaborated with major artists such as St Germain and Steve Coleman, developing over the years a unique musical language at the crossroads of jazz, world music, urban rhythms and contemporary composition.

For this evening’s performance, he is joined by three distinguished collaborators: Romain Clerc-Renaud on keyboards, a leading figure on the Parisian jazz and improvisation scene; Jean-Luc Lehr on bass, a loyal long-time collaborator and enthusiast of rhythms from around the world; and Maxime Zampieri on drums, trained in Brussels and seasoned on stages in Tokyo, New York and Montreux.
