The young pianist Maxence Leroy, an ambassador for a new generation of jazz, invites musicians and the audience to immerse themselves in a world where creative energy vies with good humour.
For this edition, he welcomes Gareth Donkin, a British multi-instrumentalist, singer, songwriter and producer based in London. A true jack-of-all-trades, he crafts a unique sound at the crossroads of soul, funk, R&B and jazz, driven by remarkable musicality and an innate sense of groove. Drawing on influences from Stevie Wonder, Prince and Jamiroquai, he effortlessly blends his musical heritage with contemporary sounds. An artist of boundless talent, whose infectious energy promises some wonderful surprises.
