#Meet LE QUINT’UP

Quint’Up really gets the groove going! Led by Mario Canonge and Michel Zenino, this quintet brings together five exceptional musicians to create a style of jazz fuelled by hard bop, Caribbean rhythms and an irresistible desire to share.

Here, everything is in motion: the melodies dance, the improvisations soar and the grooves take hold without asking permission. Alex Duthil, on France Musique’s *Open Jazz*, describes it as “a torrent of energy, swing, mastery and swaying grooves”. It’s hard to sum up the experience any better.

Alongside Canonge and Zenino are Arnaud Dolmen, one of the most distinctive drummers of his generation and a Victoires du Jazz award winner; Josiah Woodson, a Grammy Award-winning trumpeter; and Ricardo Izquierdo, a Cuban saxophonist renowned for the richness of his playing.
