A star-studded tribute to the great singer of the 70s and 80s. Al Jarreau's career began with a highly personal style of singing, but really took off in 1980 with the album "This Time", followed by "Breakin' Away" in 1981. Covering both jazz and pop songs, he is the only singer ever to win a Grammy Award in three different categories: Jazz, R&B and Pop.
Roger Biwandu is one of the most renowned drummers on the French scene. Over the course of his career, he has worked with Jacques Higelin and Biréli Lagrène, two major figures in French and European music. A musician of great versatility, he has distinguished himself both on stage and as a musical director. Alongside him, Linley Marthe, a native of Mauritius, has established himself as a bassist of singular talent, nourished by the rhythms and musical colours of his native island. Hervé Saint-Guiron, a passionate multi-instrumentalist, brings his sensitivity and his love of jazz, soul and great keyboards. Finally, Bruno Edjenguélé completes the quartet with his warm voice and stage experience, drawn from a world of jazz, soul and groove. Together, they bring together talent, complicity and solid experience in the service of lively, generous music.
