A percussionist and composer, Isaías transforms every stage into a laboratory where jazz meets tradition. Nourished by the bewitching rhythms of Maranhão, he has distilled this energy into a universal language: improvisation.
On stage, he doesn't play music - he converses with it. His drums converse with brass instruments, his silences respond to solos, and every note becomes an invitation to exchange ideas. Inspired by the giants of the Nordeste (Hermeto Pascoal, Naná Vasconcelos), he creates a bridge between swing and Brazilian groove, where tradition is no longer a framework but a springboard to the unexpected.
