Backed by a top-flight line-up, pianist Julien Coriatt is joined by Amina Mezaache, a key figure in world music and jazz in France, developing a singular language that blends tradition and modernity; Sonny Troupé, a master of the ka drum, draws on his Guadeloupean heritage while projecting it into contemporary forms; Stefano Lucchini, a renowned Italian drummer, brings a finesse and energy nurtured by the great European stages; Damian Nueva, a double bassist with a deep, subtle groove, anchors the ensemble with elegance; while Julien Coriatt federates these universes in a sensitive and audacious writing style..
