A passion for African music has marked Fafa, Isabel and Cate's career as backing singers with such iconic artists as Papa Wemba, Manu Dibango, Etienne Mbappé and many others.

It all began with a tribute to Rido Bayonne. It was there that the three artists met and decided to form the trio PÔ: a name that sounds like a tribute to their roots, since it means "to play" in Mina (Benin) and "to arrive" in Douala (Cameroon). Their repertoire blends the great standards of Sam Mangwana, Ray Léma and other legends of African music, with lively original creations.
