A singer and songwriter originally from Martinique, Nerijhe discovered music and its spiritual dimension through her passion for the piano, which she developed alongside Eric Dannenmüller. Guided by her love of music, singing naturally became an integral part of her life. A sensitive singer, she sings everything from soul and gospel to the jazz of Ella, Duke and Ray. She has no qualms about borrowing her boundless energy from funk, or scatting out French sounds. She lent her voice to Carlotta Valdès for nearly 6 years before revealing part of her mystery.
