#Tiss+week - KOKO
Koko / Nathan Mollet / Ralph Lavital / Yoann Danier / Gewen Ladeux / Nizar Ali
A singer, rapper and polyglot, Koko trained in jazz and improvisation at Berklee College of Music in Boston, before returning to France to create a musical world in her own image: open, instinctive and drawing on a wealth of influences.
Through the figure of Anahit — the Armenian goddess of water, wisdom, fertility and transmission — KOKO asserts a free-spirited musical identity, blending neo-soul, hip-hop and Armenian sounds. She explores themes of memory, identity and resilience.
On stage, ANAHIT comes into her own: her voice blends with the groove, improvisation opens up new dimensions, and the visuals complement the music in a generous and resolutely contemporary live performance.
TISS+ Week is much more than a festival: it’s an explosion of encounters, emotions and unique creations!
Immerse yourself in a world where heritage, memory, spirituality and creolity blend to create magical moments.
Here, traditions are reinvented, artistic expressions are revitalised, and different worlds engage in a bold dialogue, creating unique, vibrant and inspiring scenes.
True to the DNA of the ‘ Baiser Salé ’, this week is a celebration of unexpected cross-pollinations, influences that travel far and wide, and the bonds forged between generations, cultures and sensibilities. An extraordinary festival, where every moment becomes an unforgettable experience.
