This Monday, François Constantin's Jam takes its inspiration from Weather Report, pioneers of jazz-rock and fusion. François Constantin on percussion and lead leads the groove, surrounded by Noé Huchard on piano, Juan Villaroel on bass and Stéphane Huchard on drums.
The fusion is improvised and reinvented live: rhythms that move, melodies that intertwine, a constant dialogue between instruments, in the style of Weather Report's orchestral compositions. Intense climaxes, bass lines inspired by Jaco Pastorius, flights of piano and drums that recall the energy of Joe Zawinul and Wayne Shorter.
More than just a concert, the jam is an opportunity to discover outstanding musicians and see them improvise together. It's the feeling of taking part in a unique moment. A one-hour concert lays the foundations and launches the theme of the evening, then a jam takes us through the night.
