When Les Caribéennes de Mai sets up shop at Baiser Salé, François Constantin doesn't do things by halves. He gathers around him the finest musicians who carry the Caribbean groove in their blood, mixing energies and transforming his jams into veritable Caribbean playgrounds, hot and unpredictable. On percussion and lead, François Constantin drives the rhythm and vitality, accompanied by monsters Mario Canonge on piano, Thierry Fanfant on bass and Jean-Philippe Fanfant on drums. Every note breathes the sunshine and warmth of the West Indies, and every improvisation becomes a collective party, with the musicians responding to each other and surprising each other at every moment. A one-hour concert to set the scene, then the JAM goes wild and the stage becomes a real playground open to all, amateurs and pros alike, the curious and the passionate. The evenings promise to be explosive, festive and deeply alive, with the West Indian groove taking centre stage and never letting up.
