Edith Piaf, Brassens, Jacques Brel, Juliette Greco, France Gall, Barbara... the list goes on! Their styles are varied, sometimes diametrically opposed, but what they have in common is that they all belong to the French musical heritage. Through them, we have seen the evolution of chanson à texte, moving over the years from pop and ballads to variety. They played with words, disrupted established codes and invented new sounds. They've left their mark on French chanson, and that deserves a jam hosted by François Constantin! With Guillaume Farley on bass and vocals, Romain Joutard on drums, and Vincent Bidal on piano, you'll want to sing along, dance and smile, because he's one of those musicians who gives everyone a banana.
