Thierry Fanfant has music in his blood. Born into a family of musicians stretching back several generations, he picked up a bass guitar at the age of 12, taught himself to play on stage... and hasn't stopped since. Tours to the four corners of the world, thousands of albums recorded, and always the same generous groove that makes him tick. With his fifth album, 6.4, Thierry takes us right back to his roots. Combining Caribbean rhythms, travel, encounters and life experiences, his music is full of depth, energy and hope. And the wink is clear: he alternates between 6-string guitar, bass and 4-string double bass to tell his story. On stage, he's not alone: Daniel Gassin makes the piano sing, Robert Coline ignites the ka, and Andy Bérald propels the whole thing on drums and ka.
