Adrian Edeline is the kind of guitarist who doesn't fit into any box. His alternative, ever-changing style mixes influences, twists codes and constantly seeks out new sounds. On stage or in the studio, he's one of those elusive musicians who's instantly recognisable. As a composer for theatre, cinema and his own projects (Ouverture Facile, Serpent...), he has established his own unique style, always straddling the line between experimentation and raw emotion. So it's hardly surprising that he's worked alongside artists as varied as Christine and the Queens, Juliette Armanet, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Crystal Murray and Adrien Soleiman.
Adrian is also a constant companion on stage, whether with Crystal Murray, Tiss+ or his most recent project, Formal Institute.
Here, it's all about urgency and the unexpected: music built in the moment, where form meets accident, somewhere between kraut, jazz and telepathic improvisations. A sound torn from the present.
