MATHILDE GARDIEN - "Racines"

Following her #JazzdeDemain residency last year, Mathilde Gardien returns to Le Baiser Salé to present “Racines,” a new collection of original compositions, accompanied by Jean Saint Loubert and Léo Tochon (and a few guest artists). A return to her early influences, French chanson, and a deep desire to put the lyrics front and center. Sensitive waltzes rub shoulders with rhythmic “Camille-style” pieces, acoustic and electronic sounds blend together in a dreamlike setting.
