SORAYA TOUKABRI QUARTET
DEUX CONCERTS : 19h30 & 21h30
When jazz meets the colors of the Orient and the rhythms of North Africa, the result is the Soraya Toukabri Quartet: a vibrant, multicultural universe full of surprises. Inspired by Tunisian stambeli, Arab-Andalusian music, and the great Arab voices of her childhood, Soraya Toukabri blends original compositions, jazz standards, and revisited classics with a sincerity that hits the mark. Mixing French, Arabic, and English, Soraya recounts fragments of her history and celebrates a multifaceted artistic identity. On stage, she is accompanied by Omar El Ouaer on piano, Joachim Govin on double bass, and Damien Françon on drums. Together, they offer an intimate, vibrant, and generous concert, where jazz, tradition, and modernity come together with naturalness and emotion.
