Originally from Martinique, Joanne Dolly radiates a rare intensity on the Paris stage! Singer, double bass player and flautist, she navigates between genres with disconcerting ease. Her universe is an organic fusion of gospel, jazz and Afro-Caribbean rhythms, where every note exudes freedom and passion. On stage, she doesn't play: she lives, she shares, she transports. Her double bass becomes a dance partner, her voice a wave that brings people together. Each performance becomes a collective ritual - somewhere between celebration, trance and prayer. Nurtured by legendary figures such as Sarah Vaughan, Carmen McRae and Esperanza Spalding, Joanne has forged a singular, sunny identity, rooted in the moment. She's writing her own story, between incandescent groove and unvarnished poetry. Working with musicians such as Bernard Vidal, Benjamin Thiébault and Bastien Rigolle, she weaves together jazz, soul and Caribbean vibes. With Joanne Dolly, music becomes a breath, a smile, a force that strikes at the heart.
