Thierry Fanfant has music in his blood. Born into a family of musicians spanning several generations, he picked up a bass guitar at the age of 12, taught himself to play, took to the stage... and hasn't stopped since. He has toured all over the world, recorded thousands of albums, and still has the same generous groove that makes him vibrate. With his fifth album, 6.4, Thierry takes us right back to his roots. Between Caribbean rhythms, travels, encounters, and life experiences, he creates music full of depth, energy, and hope. And the nod is clear: he alternates between 6-string guitar, bass, and 4-string double bass to tell his story. On stage, he is not alone: Daniel Gassin makes the piano sing, Laurent Succab sets the ka alight, and Andy Bérald propels it all on drums and ka. Together, they deliver a powerful, warm sound that grabs the audience from the very first note and never lets go.
