LA JAM DU DIMANCHE DE MATIS HURION
FESTIVAL JAZZ SUR SEINE 2025 - SPECIALE MARY J BLIGE //20h30//
This Sunday, the club welcomes back its enfant terrible, Matis Hurion. A drummer with killer grooves, he turns every concert into a playground, drawing the audience into his irresistible energy. Alongside him, Audric Lecompagnon makes the strings dance, JB Kabs purrs on the bass, and guests TŌNI and Likane add spellbinding vocals and playful keyboards. The spark of the evening is Mary J. Blige—the “Queen of Hip-Hop Soul,” discovered in the early 90s, who dared to combine the raw grain of rap with the velvety harmonies of soul. With songs like Real Love, You Remind Me, and Family Affair, she invented a musical language where you dance while recounting your wounds, where choruses are shoulder pads and verses are confidences. Her music is a smile in the midst of a storm, celebration as an antidote, and groove as a promise. Tonight, we won't be copying her, but reinventing her: stretching her songs, shaking them up, spicing them up... until the stage opens for the jam and the whole Baiser Salé beats in unison.
