LA JAM DU DIMANCHE DE SOTIRIS TSOLIS
20h30
On the second Sunday of every month, Le Baiser Salé becomes the playground for an explosive band led by Sotiris Tsolis, surrounded by musicians who are as talented as they are unique. A lively and inspired jam session, where generations, styles, and sensibilities come together. At the helm is Sotiris Tsolis, a Franco-Greek drummer trained at the conservatory, who shines with his organic, precise and ever-changing playing style. Very active on the Paris jazz scene, he knows how to blend modern jazz, Latin music and free improvisation with a rhythmic finesse that sets the tone for the entire evening. A true catalyst of energy, he brings a unique dynamic to each piece, with Adrian Edeline on guitar providing a rich and nuanced sound palette and a style that is as lyrical as it is incisive, knowing how to build tension and create atmospheres of great gentleness. His sense of listening and response makes him as inspired a soloist as he is a formidable accompanist. Nathan Mollet, on keyboards, is a creator of atmospheres. His elegant and subtle playing blends modern harmony, groove, and improvisation with natural ease. He navigates between atmospheric layers, energetic solos, and complicit dialogues with the other musicians. Elise Blanchard, saxophonist and keyboardist, is the perfect link between jazz tradition and its contemporary reinventions. Her expressive phrasing and mastery of jazz language make her an improviser with a unique voice. She moves from the warm breath of the saxophone to the finesse of keyboard harmonies with astonishing fluidity. The Sunday Jam is much more than just an open stage: it is a veritable sound laboratory, a place for encounters, transmission, and experimentation. In a warm and welcoming atmosphere, young talents, established musicians, and club regulars come together to share, explore, and vibrate together. An essential part of Parisian jazz nights. Every Sunday at Le Baiser Salé.
