What if an imaginary film came to life on stage, between sound shadows and flashes of light? To open his residency at Baiser Salé, guitarist Hugo Corbin embarks on a hypnotic exploration of David Lynch's universe, where music doesn't comment on the image, but creates it, inspires it, inhabits it. Alongside the magnetic voice of Ava Celly, the singular bass of Marc Buronfosse (and his deeply resonant Fender VI), and the cinematic drums of Srdjan Ivanovic, he revisits the mythical themes of the cult director - like so many soundscapes to be traversed with eyes closed. A daring, free-listening quartet, for a timeless evening of electric jazz, daydreaming and dreamlike tension. A sensory immersion not to be missed, in the heart of a Baiser Salé transformed into a dark room.

Hugo Corbin is a French guitarist and composer with a sensitive, cinematic universe. Trained between Paris, London and New York, his music blends contemporary jazz, soaring rock influences and seventh-art-inspired textures. Driven by a narrative approach to sound, he creates interior landscapes that are both melancholy and luminous, where each note seems to tell a story. His artistic approach, which straddles the border between the real and the imaginary, is expressed both in his own compositions and in his many collaborations on today's jazz scene. As part of its bimonthly residencies, Le Baiser Salé is committed to supporting up-and-coming artists, offering a free, daring and creative space for experimentation.
