VOWSKI

Loneliness in the midst of saturated urban spaces: this is the cruel paradox that VOWSKI strives to depict in music, like a kind of modern spleen. Following in the footsteps of artists such as Boards of Canada, Sigur Rós and Josh Johnson, the band's aesthetic is both contemplative and powerful. The original music of this project is inseparable from its striking urban visual universe. It evokes our contemporary world, with its chaos and anger , but also its energy and desire to share. Each sound, each texture is integrated into a global narrative whose extra-scenic dimension plunges the spectator into an immersive experience.

At the heart of this project, four musicians fully embody this sensitive and committed aesthetic. On keyboards, Nathan Mollet fashions profound soundscapes, playing with electronic textures as well as silences. Pierre Thiot's alto saxophone, combined with his effects treatments, shake up the sound material, injecting breath and tension into every phrase. On bass, Viktor Raynaud explores the limits of groove, providing a dense, shifting base, while Simon Jodlowski, on drums and electronic pads, sketches out a rhythm in constant mutation, between physical strike and sound sculpture.
