Ambient Orchestra is a collective of musicians united by the same desire to create and design innovative and complex soundscapes inspired by ambient, contemporary and improvised electronic music.
Rhythmic, harmonic and textural concepts are studied and then transcribed on stage to create a unique and profound musical experience.

Nathan Mollet's music is deeply personal, almost introspective. His fine, sensitive writing has been shaped over the years by a combination of intuition and meticulous craftsmanship. His projects, the fruit of long hours of research and piano playing, are born of a simple but essential desire: to create a sincere bond with the listener, inviting him into a universe where each note tells of an emotion, a moment, a breath.

Trained by the great jazz masters - Bill Evans, Keith Jarrett, Hank Jones - and influenced by contemporary artists such as Pat Metheny, Avishai Cohen, Ben Wendel, Tigran Hamasyan and Pedro Martins, Nathan has developed a musical language that is both rooted in tradition and resolutely forward-looking.

During his residency at the Baiser Salé, Nathan will be surrounded by musicians who will add new colours to each concert. More than just a series of dates, this residency is conceived as a creative laboratory, a field of experimentation where sharing and emotion are at the heart of every performance.
