The son of a family of musicians, he was quick to swap his childhood piano for rhythms from all over the world - Cuban, Brazilian, African - which he mixes with malice and infectious energy. On stage, he's the one who sets the tone, pushes the improvisations, and makes both instruments and hearts vibrate.
