JAM SESSION avec Caloé

It is this spirit that Caloë and his quartet bring to life for one evening. The concert opens: Caloë's voice, accompanied by Clément Simon on piano, Solène Cairoli on double bass, and Tiss Rodriguez on drums, leads us into a repertoire with the colors of the American South, combining swing, groove, and freedom. Then, as in the clubs of the Tremé neighborhood, the stage becomes a playground for everyone: time for the jam session! Musicians are welcome to extend the evening with spontaneity, listening, and the joy of playing together.

Caloé is an exceptional voice who embodies French vocal jazz with elegance and inventiveness. Singer, composer, improviser, she brilliantly blends jazz, pop, folk and classical music, offering music rich in emotion and nuance. Born into a family of music lovers, Caloé began playing the violin at the age of 4 and improvisation immediately became part of her language. It was during her adolescence that she discovered jazz and she remained faithful to it. On stage, Caloé captivates her audience with her generous presence, her impeccable vocal technique and her masterful scat playing. She also hosts jam sessions throughout the year at Baiser Salé, offering young talents a platform to express themselves and share their passion.
