Singer, composer and improviser, Caloé brilliantly blends jazz, pop, folk and classical music, creating music rich in emotion and nuance. Born into a family of music lovers, Caloé began playing the violin at the age of 4, and improvisation immediately became part of her language. She discovered jazz in her teens, and has remained faithful ever since. On stage, Caloé captivates audiences with her generous presence, impeccable vocal technique and masterful scat playing. She also hosts jam sessions throughout the year at Le Baiser Salé, giving young talents a platform to express themselves and share their passion. Wayne Shorter, visionary composer and master of the saxophone, has been a trailblazer through jazz history. From his Blue Note years to his electric adventures with Weather Report, via his intense acoustic period, he has always sought the unknown, preferring quest to comfort, mystery to demonstration. His music, made of ellipses, suspended tensions and sinuous lines, continues to inspire today's improvisers.
