When jazz meets the star Bowie: A vibrant tribute to a visionary artist. A jam session, where jazz takes over the legendary universe of David Bowie. The chameleon genius of rock, pop and experimentation is here reinvented through improvisation and the freedom of jazz. At the helm of this exceptional evening: pianist Clément Simon, accompanied by a trio accomplice and inspired with Marion Ruault on bass and Philippe Maniez on drums. On the program: a first set of re-arranged covers of Bowie's biggest songs – from Life on Mars? to Space Oddity, via Heroes and Let’s Dance – revisited boldly, elegantly and groove. Then place at the jam session open to all musicians who wish to come and explore, improvise and vibrate the free mind of Bowie, between rock, jazz, funk and electro.
