JON GRANDCAMP invite PALOMA PRADAL / LEO MONTANA / NICHOLAS VELLA
DEUX CONCERTS : 19h30 & 21h30
A carte blanche and a crack team that promises to be as audacious as it is talented, with the fantastic four of Paloma, Nicholas, Leo and Jon! Since her first solo album Rabia (La Rage), Paloma has been touring the world with her committed lyrics, drawing on her family history and exploring various musical styles: flamenco, hip-hop, jazz, electro, African music and Spanish classical... An accomplished rhythmicist and inspired composer, Jon works “to the body” on a variety of sonic materials, from blues to rock, groove to African roots and world music. His talent has given him the privilege of playing with Eric Serra, Omar Pene, Etienne M'Bappé, Defunkt, Hadrien Feraud, Zap Mama, Fatoumata Diawara, Woz Kaly, Magma, Carla Bruni and Sly Johnson, to name but a few of his collaborations. A jazz globetrotter, Leo Montana is a pianist and composer of rare finesse, rhythm and lyricism. The fiery, inventive pianist was born in La Paz, grew up in Brazil and lived in Guadeloupe, where he was overwhelmed by the Gwoka “this machine, this sound that came out of there, that reminded me of what I had seen in Brazil, but that I couldn't explain.” Musician, producer and musical director, he has collaborated with renowned artists such as Hamza, Slimane, Mayra Andrade, Etienne Mbappe, Lara Fabian, Jorja Smith, Vitaa, Ibeyi, Angélique Kidjo, Saïan Supa Célébration, Paco Sery and many others. Nicholas is also co-founder of the group Monsieur Mâlâ, with whom he won a Victoire du Jazz award in 2024. That same year, he was named second best foreign keyboardist of the year. These distinctions reflect a career marked by musical exploration and the constant quest for excellence.
