With his exceptional quartet, and in the warm, intimate setting of the Club, Etienne Mbappé unveils one of his most cherished projects, to be released in 2025, in the course of his #CarteBlanche concerts: a Country - Folk album, a music he is particularly fond of, with colorful, spicy ingredients from his native Africa.

Accompanied by his 3 faithful companions and distinguished artists Christophe on piano and fiddle, Phil on guitar, mandolin and cello, Anthony on guitar and Nicolas on drums, Etienne promises us a journey of calm, soothing, gentle and enveloping sounds, reassuring and comforting, taking us away for the duration of a concert from the thundering, frenetic urban hustle and bustle, to explore beyond. An in-depth approach to resonating arpeggios and other crystalline sweeps of steel-stringed acoustic guitars, the basis of Country - Folk instrumentation. “COUNTRY - SIDE”, an invisible bridge over the Atlantic Ocean, linking secret African rhythms with American Country-Folk music.
