Known for his unique style and dynamic performances, Matis Hurion has gained notoriety thanks to his videos and collaborations with other artists. His approach to drumming combines technique, creativity and catchy grooves. Surrounded by talented musicians, Matis Hurion offers an hour-long concert followed by a jam session with the best artists on the Paris jazz scene. Born on April 5, 1995 in Ontario, Canada, Daniel Caesar grew up in Oshawa. He inherited a taste for music from his father, a gospel minister, and sang in his congregation. At the age of 17, after a violent argument with his father, Daniel Caesar left home, became homeless for a time, and then, thanks to producers and future collaborators Jordan Evans and Matthew Burnett, recorded his first EP in 2014, Praise Break, steeped in R&B. He delivered a second, Pilgrim's Paradise, in 2015. Two years later, he put the finishing touches to his first studio album, Freudian, featuring the singles “Get You”, “We Find Love” and “Blessed”. He is nominated for two Grammy Awards for this opus in the “Best R&B Album” and “Best R&B Performance” categories, and is awarded for the latter thanks to the track “Best Part”, recorded with H.E.R.. In 2019, his second album, Case Study 01, reaches number 17 on the Billboard charts, aided by collaborations with renowned artists such as Brandy, Pharrell Williams and John Mayer. In March 2021, he made a guest appearance on Justin Bieber's “Peaches”, which shot to the top of the charts. Two years later, he put the finishing touches to his third album, Never Enough, featuring the tracks “Do You Like Me” and “Let Me Go”.
