For the Caribéennes de Mai, François Constantin has once again surrounded himself with the nec plus ultra of West Indian groove. Xavier Belin is a multi-faceted artist, mixing piano, arrangement and composition in a jazz style inspired by his Martinican roots. In bimonthly residency at the Club, Xavier Belin presents a repertoire of jazz standards from Martinique, Reunion, Haiti and Trinidad, in search of diversity... Here he is surrounded by his no-longer-introduced accomplices Ranto Rakomalala on bass and Tilo Bertholo on drums...
