LA JAM DU DIMANCHE DE CALOÉ
HOMMAGE A BLOSSOM DEARIE - 20h30
Caloé has captured the elegance and originality of this timeless jazz artist, taking us on a journey through her repertoire of revisited standards and more personal compositions, between refinement and playfulness. With her crystalline voice and unique pianistic style, Blossom Dearie marked the 1950s to 1970s with her inimitable sophisticated style, with a touch of irony. She began her career in the clubs of New York before moving to Paris in the '50s, where she joined The Blue Stars, later to become the famous Swingle Sisters. She is also known for her unique interpretations of standards.
The set will be followed by the Jam Session, a convivial get-together where musicians gather every Sunday to improvise. This weekly session offers a relaxed atmosphere conducive to experimentation and spontaneous musical creation. A unique evening of music and sharing!
