His flawless technique, his lyricism, his unique tone and his talents as a composer have made the American tenor saxophonist, Joe Henderson, a jazz legend. Lush Life (1992), The State of the Tenor in 1985, then his first album Page one, remains one of the most critically acclaimed. He collaborates with Horace Silver, Andrew Hill, Herbie Hancock, Mc Coy Tyner, and briefly joins Miles Davis' group. His style evolves between post-bop, fusion and avant-garde.
