BENJAMIN SANZ DIRECTIONS

With his quintet “Directions”, drummer and composer Benjamin Sanz plays the repertoire from his recently released third album, “Black Seeds”, an impressive team of cohesion and conviction. This music, conceived as a road trip, reveals African and Black American influences, from New Orleans and Kansas City to Mali and the Comoros. Benjamin Sanz is the purveyor of catchy melodies and a swing that guides the whole as much as it nourishes its colors.
