DOMINIQUE FILLON & SYLVAIN GONTARD JAZZ QUARTET

It was by recording a version of the title “Lord Is It Mine” on their first album as a duo (SydO) that Sylvain Gontard and Dominique Fillon were able to measure to what extent the compositions and arrangements of the group Supertramp could be “reread” with different instrumentation and aesthetics without losing strength.

The duo surrounds itself with a jazz rhythm that is as solid as it is elegant, with Antoine Fillon on drums and Léonie Hey on double bass. A “pop’n jazz” crossover evening where it might be difficult NOT to sing, at least in your head !
