JON GRANDCAMP invite PALOMA PRADAL / LEO MONTANA / ROMAIN LABAYE / NICHOLAS VELLA
DEUX CONCERTS : 19H30 & 21H30
Since her first solo album Rabia (The Rage), Paloma has toured the stages with her committed lyrics, drawing on her family history and exploring various styles of music: flamenco, hip-hop, jazz, electro, African music and even Spanish classical music.
An accomplished rhythmic player and inspired composer, Jon works “in body” on different sound materials, from blues to rock, from groove to African roots, including world music. Victoire du Jazz with the group Monsieur Mala, Nicholas is a storyteller without text, a painter of sound, who gives freedom to the imagination and interpretation of all.
Jazz globetrotter, Leo Montana is a pianist and composer of rare finesse, rhythm and lyricism. The pianist with fiery and inventive lyricism was born in La Paz, grew up in Brazil and lived in Guadeloupe where he was overwhelmed by the Gwoka "this machine, this sound that came out of there, which reminded me of what I had seen in Brazil, but which I could not explain."
