Mahan Mirarab Trio

Mahan Mirarab is an Iranian-Austrian guitarist, composer, arranger and music producer based in Vienna and Berlin.

He uses fretless guitar, combining traditional Persian music and the indigenous and multicultural sounds of Iran (Arabic, African, Turkish, Kurdish,...etc) with jazz, classical and Western popular music.

On January 16, 2025 at Baiser Salé, he will present his new album accompanied for the first time by Chris Jennings on double bass and John Hadfield on drums for a unique concert with sounds between the Iranian East and jazz standards.
