John Fedchock

New York trombonist John Fedchock’s career in jazz spans more than four decades. Hot HouseNYC magazine has named him “one of the living masters of his instrument.” Since breaking into jazz in 1980, Fedchock has established himself as a world-class solo trombonist, acclaimed bandleader, and GRAMMY-nominated arranger. Fedchock began his career with Woody Herman and has since performed with T.S. Monk, Gerry Mulligan, Louie Bellson, Jon Faddis, and the Carnegie Hall Jazz Band. For this one-off date at Baiser Salé, his quartet will perform critically acclaimed pieces from across his entire discography, including his 2024 album, “Justifiably J.J.” celebrating the centennial of trombone legend J.J. Johnson.
